Haynes- Williams was born in Worcester, England 1836 and died Eastbourne, 1908. He was a natural painter, specialising in genre paintings.  And developed his artistic activity mainly in London, Birmingham and Andalusia in Spain.Haynes-Williams exhibited at the Royal Academy 1852 – 1878,also the British Institute and at the Suffolk Street gallery.


His work is represented in numerous Collections and Museums.


Famous titles of work at The Royal Academy include ‘Kept In’,‘A Little Entanglement’, ‘Tuning the Fiddle’.  Williams-Haynes also has paintings in the York Gallery, England
