ROBERT RICHMOND CAMPBELL was born Edinburgh 1902. Arrived Australia 1916. A skilful and versatile painter in oils and watercolour. His first major success in 1928 was a sell-out at Sedon Galleries, Melbourne, of Streeton like paintings of Sydney Harbour. (Both of the stunning works in this current exhibition may have been included in this show). In Paris he stayed with Rupert Bunny. Represented in all State and most regional galleries. Died 1972.
