The Passing Parade

2019

Acrylic on canvas

In my many years on earth, I have been privileged to meet and care for a variety of poultry. Their magnificent plumage and dignity has continued to intrigue me.

Each bird is gorgeous in their own way. And as a whole, my eye struggles to settle on a single bird.

They are all beautiful. And yet are unaware of how pleasing they are to the eye of an artist.

This painting is a celebration of my observations of quiet graciousness and elegance, and the innocence of natural beauty.
