The dove on the left is a superb rose crowned fruit dove from far north Queensland and the one on the right is a Texas white winged dove ......although they are hemispheres apart they have both evolved along similar line, both love fruit and both will take occasional insects when they have young to feed

It is amazing to me that the super fruit dove lives in tropical rainforest and the white winged one lives in arid parts of Texas yet their evolution has a convergent path

The pears were just a little fun to the painting impact
