Tibbitts, William

William Taylor Smith Tibbits was born circa 1837 and died 1906.

He was a painter and printmaker who migrated from England to Victoria 1867

Tibbits produced many landscape drawings, views of public and private buildings and reproductions steel plate prints whilst residing in Victoria and Sydney. He travelled to regional areas and painted various scenes and was also commissioned by James Fairfax.
